Origin
Salient was founded in Q3 2023 in partnership with some of the largest consumer lenders in the United States — and built from the ground up inside their operations.
We were embedded inside the world's most sophisticated servicing operations from day one. Every product was crafted in direct collaboration with our launch partners — not built in a lab and then sold to them.
That origin shows in the product. Salient understands the regulatory surface area, the nuance of financial hardship conversations, and the operational complexity of a servicer running across dozens of state laws and lender SOPs — because we built it alongside the people who live that complexity every day.
Today, Salient is the most widely-deployed consumer finance AI in the United States, touching more than 1.5 million Americans every day.
